I started making pet food out of necessity—my sweet pup Dolly was diagnosed with megaesophagus, and I needed to ensure she was getting the healthiest diet possible. I began cooking for her using only whole, pet-healthy ingredients.

When Dolly was finally old enough for treats, I read the ingredient labels on commercial puffs and melts and realized many contained ingredients she didn’t need—and some that weren’t ideal for pets at all. Watching our other pets enjoy
high-value treats while she missed out didn’t sit right with me, so I decided to turn her homemade food into freeze-dried treats.

They were an instant hit with all of our cats and dogs. From there, I expanded into making our own yogurt melts with flavors pups love—no fillers or extras, just whole-fat Greek yogurt paired with fruit or peanut butter.
